Even Ramesses the Great Had A Passport

Back in 1976, the long-dead pharaoh was given his own personal passport so that he could be transported from Egypt to France to treat the fungus that his body was being threatened by. France’s laws stated that any travel to the country and through it would require a valid passport, and so the Egyptian government had issued a passport to the pharaoh.
