How to Renew an Expired Passport

Before you begin, make sure the following situations apply :
- Your most recent passport should be undamaged and submitted with your application for renewal.
- Passport was issued when you were age 16 or older.
- Passport was issued in the last 15 years.
We have put together an easy to follow list to get your passport renewed. Remember, the documents will need to be signed and mailed or FedExed to us as the Department of State will accept documents with original signatures only. You may no scan or email your passport documents.
Only adults may renew their passports, as children’s passports may not be renewed.
