Getting Your Ghana Visa in Houston

If you’re planning a summer trip to Ghana, whether for business or leisure, you’re going to need a visa. Here are the documents you will need when you apply to make sure your application goes through. Keep in mind that Ghana visas last a maximum of 30 days and the US embassy in Ghana is closed on Fridays.
Business:
- Two Ghana visa applications, filled in completely
- Two passport-style photos (make sure to leave off the glasses!)
- A physical passport with at least 6 months validity after your trip’s completion and at least one blank visa page
- For non-US passport holders, you must provide a copy of your green card or your I-94 and US visa
- A copy of your flight itinerary
- An invitation from your host in Ghana
- A company business letter, printed on your company’s letterhead
- If you order through Texas Tower, be sure to include your order form!
Tourism:
- Two complete Ghana visa applications
