American Citizens Need This to Visit Senegal

Senegal is at a level 3 (Reconsider Travel) advisory, but you can still travel to it, you should exercise caution.

NOTES FOR SENEGAL VISAS:
WE CAN NOT ASSIST IN SENEGAL VISAS.
Maximum Stay: 90 days

BEFORE YOU GO TO SENEGAL:
U.S. and Canada passport holders now require visa to enter Senegal. This is a biometric visa which will require that you be fingerprinted in addition to submitting other documents. As this is a biometric visa a personal appearance at the Senegal Embassy is necessary unless you are going to attempt visa issuance at the Dakhar Airport.
The Senegal Embassy in Washington, DC is located at:
2215 M Street NW
Washington, DC 20037
(202) 234-0540
After you pay and pre-register your visa you may then submit you documents to a Senegal Embassy or upon arrival at the airport in Dakar. It is recommended that you are fingerprinted and submit your documents at a Senegal Embassy in order to avoid potentially long lines at the airport.
